Page 3, Oct. 22, 1798, ADS of Josiah Pearce describing the richness of the soil and tremendous crops he was able to raise. Page 4, DS, Oct. 22 1798, affidavit signed by five individuals who vouch for the character of Pearce and for the truth of his statement.
